Regular park hours are 8am – 11pm. Wildflower Park is located at 551 E Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

On October 22, Wildflower Park was made accessible to the general public. Situated near the downtown area and facing the Intracoastal Waterway, this passive park has undergone an expensive renovation process and now serves as a stunning addition to the waterfront scene that both locals and tourists can enjoy.

In 2009, the City purchased a 2.3-acre plot of land that now houses a brand new park. This park contributes to the City’s Waterfront Master Plan, the blueprint for sustainable and recreational use of City waterfront spaces.

The community was heavily involved in shaping the park’s development through numerous public input sessions. They expressed a strong desire for a serene park that featured waterfront views, spacious areas for leisure activities, comfortable seating, and interactive play spaces. The park’s name was also chosen through a community vote, with Wildflower being the popular choice. This name was inspired by a former restaurant on the site that locals have long referred to as the Wildflower property.

The park received a significant revamp in January 2021, starting with the construction of a brand new seawall and underground utilities. Alongside these essential upgrades, several exciting new features have been added to enhance the park experience.

For leisure lovers, the place offers pedestrian walkways, an event lawn and waterfront seating. You can appreciate art sculptures and play art that are scattered throughout the area. Cool off in the interactive water feature, take a break at the pavilion or use the restroom facilities. Improved landscaping and a new seawall provide an aesthetically pleasing experience. There are also picnic seating areas available. The spot is connected to Silver Palm Park by a pedestrian promenade. You can park your car nearby too.

The park’s position beside downtown makes it a convenient green refuge for both locals and tourists who can stroll over to it after a meal, bout of shopping, or a trip to the shore.

Wildflower Park is still under construction. Feast your eyes on these photos documenting the ongoing development, which showcase various additions including a stunning art sculpture, interactive play art, comfortable seating, and a beautiful water feature.
