Red Reef Park has an expanded snorkeling zone at the southern end of the park. The snorkeling area is made up of 6 artificial reef modules. With the addition of 14 new reef modules, constructed with 12-18 limestone boulders, there is now a bigger area for recreational snorkeling. The artificial reef modules were placed offshore by the City’s contractor using a barge and a crane.

The future of the newly colonized reef looks bright as it beckons a range of familiar fish specie to the area such as Sergeant Majory, Parrotfish, Bar Jack, Spottail Pinfish, Molly Miller and more.
